1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and session identifiers. We use them to keep the service working, secure and measurable.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary: authentication, session security and load balancing — including the sign-in session for the administration area, and security cookies set by our hosting provider. These are required for the service to function.
- Analytics: where enabled, privacy-respecting, aggregate measurement of how the service is used so we can improve it. We do not use cookies for cross-site behavioural advertising.
3. Cookies and the AI workspace
The AI workspace is where you describe a learning goal and generate a roadmap, visual study aids and a micro-lesson. It does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own, and it does not store your goals, prompts or generated study aids in your browser’s local storage. What you type is sent to our servers only to generate your plan for that request; how long we keep it is set out in our Privacy Policy. Only the strictly necessary cookies above apply while you use the AI workspace, so blocking non-essential cookies does not stop you generating a plan. You can open the AI workspace without an account.
4. Third-party processors
Cookies may be set by our hosting provider (Vercel), our payment processor (Stripe) during checkout, and our database/auth provider (Supabase) for signed-in sessions. These serve operational and security purposes.
5. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and block non-essential cookies where offered. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the service from working, such as signing in.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will revise the “last updated” date above. Questions? Email support@adepttechuk.shop. See also our Privacy Policy.
